Fire Investigation Service
Structural, wildland, and vehicle fire investigation in Western Canada.
At Clearwater Fire Forensics, our Fire Investigation Services are designed to provide thorough, accurate, and reliable analysis of fire incidents across various environments. Whether the fire involves a structure, vehicle, or wildland area, our team applies advanced scientific methodologies and technology to uncover the truth behind every incident.
Structural Fire Investigation
Our structural fire investigations focus on determining the cause of fires in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. We utilize comprehensive scene examinations, analyze fire patterns and smoke residues. Our investigators hold various certifications through the IAAI and NAFI. The investigations are completed using the NFPA 921 as a guideline.
Vehicle Fire Investigation
In vehicle fire investigations, we handle the complexities of modern automotive systems with expertise. From inspecting electrical and fuel systems to reconstructing fire scenes. Our investigators hold vehicle fire investigation endorsements as well as some are Red Seal Journeyman Automotive and Heavy Duty Mechanics.
Wildland Fire Investigation
Wildland fire investigations require a deep understanding of environmental factors and fire behaviour. Our team analyzes fire spread patterns, examines the terrain, and uses satellite imagery and aerial drones for large-area fire mapping. We work closely with land management agencies and canine detection teams. Our investigators hold certifications with Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre (CIFFC) in FI-210 and FI-310. The fire investigations follow the PMS 412 Guideline for Wildfire Origin and Cause Investigations.
